Hells Angels prepares to ride in Langford

Saturday’s memorial ride expected to attract up to 200 riders

Langford’s streets could be filled with motorcycles Saturday as the Hells Angels prepare to roll into to town.

Up to 200 riders, including full-patch members, are expected to make the trip in memory of Michael Gregory Widner, starting at the Nanaimo headquarters at around 1 p.m. and arriving at the Devils Army biker clubhouse on Spencer Road in Langford at around 2:30 p.m.

Widner’s body was found earlier this month on the Pacific Marine route near Port Renfrew. The 39-year-old Sooke resident was believed to be a prospect for the motorcycle gang. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
