There is new leadership within the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
Elise Allan was elected president of the organization during its annual general meeting Tuesday, while Richard Finn is vice-president and Greg Hamilton is treasurer.
“We are very excited about what the future will hold for the foundation, and are looking forward to continuing to build relationships with our donors, health care facilities, and the North Okanagan community with a focus on supporting excellence in health care in our region,” said Allan, a lawyer at Nixon Wenger.
Richard Finn is co-owner of Wayside Press while Hamilton is a partner with BDO.
The outgoing executive are Greg Mussenden, who served as president for five years, Richard Rolke who was vice-president and secretary-treasurer Joanne Kineshanko.
“These three executive members will long be remembered for their strong leadership during two major fundraising campaigns; the very successful $7 million, three-year campaign that equipped five floors of the Polson tower and the $500,000 which provided the funding to renovate and expand the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre,” said Sue Beaudry, foundation director of development.
Mussenden, Rolke and Kineshanko will remain on the 15-member volunteer board.
