Icy conditions resulted in several cars sliding off the road along Highway 1 in Abbotsford early Friday morning.
It is estimated that about a dozen cars were affected in the eastbound lanes between Mt. Lehman Road and No. 3 Road throughout the morning, starting at about 3 a.m. This included a roll-over at McCallum Road and a car in the median at Mt. Lehman.
The last incident took place at about 7 a.m., but clearing away the cars resulted in major back-ups along the freeway during the morning commute.
