The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 31 calls for service from December 18th, 8 AM till December 19th, 8 AM

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 31 calls for service from December 18th, 8 AM till December 19th, 8 AM. During the same time period there have been 13 people lodged in Terrace Cells. Eight of these people were lodged for public intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Assault. A man made derogatory comments to another man inside of the Squealin’ Delight Pawn Shop. That man retaliated by assaulting him. A woman attempted to get involved and she was assaulted as well. Under investigation.

Intoxicated man standing at the counter of the Coast Inn of the West Cold Beer and Wine Store refusing to leave. Police arrested the 71 yr old man for public intoxication.

A boy was observed staggering down Lakelse Ave. Police arrested the 16 yr old boy for public intoxication. He was in possession of a woman’s purse. Police attempted to locate the woman but learnt she was out partying.

Man passed out in the Northern Savings Credit Union ATM lobby. Police spoke with the mostly sober man and directed him to a shelter.

Fight in front of the Dairy Queen. An intoxicated 34 yr old man picked a fight with a man when he was refused a smoke. The 34 yr old man had been released earlier in the day on a Recognizance with conditions stemming from an assault with a weapon. Police arrested the man for breaching his condition of not to consume alcohol. He is held for court.

Elsewhere Terrace

An orange Huffy bike was found outside of the All Nation’s Center on Sparks St

A man made a verbal contract with another man to purchase a vehicle. Cheques have since bounced. Under investigation.

False residential alarm on Sparks St.

Intoxicated man banging on doors on Scott Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Police observed a man drinking alcohol on Lakelse Ave/Emerson St. The 28 yr old man was arrested for public intoxication.

Deceased 68 yr old man on Molitor St.

An intoxicated woman out of control in a residence on Kalum St. Police arrested the 19 yr old woman.

Knocking on a bedroom wall coming from the outside. Checks were done of the area.

Intoxicated man assaulted a family member and was refusing to leave a residence. Police arrested an 18 yr old man.

A woman lost her purse, jacket and cell phone.

False business alarm on Keith Ave.

Rural

A woman’s brown leather Jager and Coultre watch was turned into the detachment. It was found a couple months ago.

Breach of peace.

Break and enter with theft of shaving cream. Police spoke with a person on the matter.

Alarm at the airport. A prohibited weapon was seized.

A woman purchased a cell phone from a woman. The phone is now not working. When attempting to get the phone fixed it was discovered the phone has been listed as lost/stolen. Under investigation.

A black patched design leather purse containing wallet with various cards and ID was stolen.

Intoxicated party at a business of on Lakelse Ave. Ongoing issues of this sort at this location.
