Vernon Councillors Brian Quiring and Catherine Lord are making a bid for a second term.
Both have announced that they will let their names stand during the Nov. 15 civic election.
“Over these past three years, I’ve learned that being a councillor is not a one-issue job. There are many issues facing Vernon, from the state of our economy to the sustainability of our infrastructure,” said Lord.
“I recognize and support growth through development and construction as a key economic driver for our community,” said Quiring.
The only other declared candidates for council are former councillors Jack Gilroy and Shawn Lee.
