A Ferndale Institution inmate walking away from the federal correctional institution Monday and is still at large.
Andrew David Shizgal was discovered missing during the 7 p.m. head count, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Shizgal, 40, stands 5’9″ and weighs 179 lb. He has brown eyes and hair, and a scar on his left arm. He is currently serving a 10-year sentence for break and enter and theft.
Ferndale is a minimum-security federal facility operated by the Correctional Service of Canada.
