Comox mountain biker Geoff Kabush finished eighth in men’s cross-country on the final day of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Kabush, 35, was clocked in one hour, 30 minutes, 43 seconds, just 1:11 out of the medals. Jaroslav Kulhavy of the Czech Republic won gold in the 50-man field, which included eight riders who did not finish the race.
