There are two chances to meet with the District of Kent’s planners today (April 30) as they work to update the Official Community Plan.
A public community forum is planned in two parts. The first meeting is an informal chat about the OCP, to held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Heritage Coffee House, 7216 Pioneer Ave. Maps and background information will be available.
The second meeting runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Friendship House at 7272 Morrow Road. That will include displays, “break out” sessions and an introduction to signing up with the District’s online public consultation tool, PlaceSpeak.
A brief overview of the presentation will take place at about 7:30 p.m.
