The Kids Say Things More Better event goes Thursday at Vernon’s Prestige Hotel from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Kids will take the spotlight for the show, where they will be interviewed in a format similar to the Art Linkletter and Bill Cosby shows, Kids Say the Darndest Things.

“You’ve got four, five and six-year-olds that are giving us their spontaneous answers,” said Linda Abbott-Simons, organizer of the event which took place in Kelowna last month and has plans to grow to 20 communities throughout B.C. and Alberta.

“It’s an opportunity for people to come out and laugh for a great cause,” she said, adding that it is an event suited to all ages.

The evening of entertainment not only features kids, but it supports them – $5 from each ticket sold goes to the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“It’s helping the little people in our community,” said Abbott-Simons.

Hosted by Mark Hetherington, the event theme is spring.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.TicketWeb.ca (type Prestige Hotels in search) or by calling 1-888-222-6608 and asking for Prestige Hotel events. Tickets will also be available at the door.
