Effective immediately, the Kindale thrift store in Armstrong will only be accepting donations during store hours.
The store is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed Sundays and statutory holidays.
“Our policy of after-hour donations has changed due to theft of donations,” said Cindy Masters, development officer.
“It makes me sad that the actions of a few individuals are affecting the way we have been operating for years.”
The thrift store recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.
