Libraries across the region, including the Summerland branch of the Okanagan Regional Library, will hold events to mark Family Literacy Week.
The province-wide week is held Jan. 23 to 30, in conjunction with Canada’s national Family Literacy Day on Jan. 27.
On Tuesday, Jan. 26, the Summerland branch at 9533 Main St. will hold a Keva Creations party from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.
Families can construct a tower with Keva planks and then build a reading stack with the library’s 100 Great Books reading lists.
The drop-in event is free.
