With the 26th annual Light a Bulb underway, Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation has reached nearly one-third of its goal, raising $82,000 to date.
“We have a goal of $250,000, with donations supporting the Building a Tower of Care Campaign, Phase II, to furnish and equip the sixth and seventh floors of the Polson tower,” said Dr. Chris Cunningham, campaign co-chairperson.
Campaign donations include $2,000 from the Royal Purple and $1,000 each from Elks Lodge, the Vernon Japanese Ladies Auxiliary, the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary and the Pythian Sisters.
“Any gift, big or small, will help us enhance the quality of health care in the North Okanagan,” said Cunningham.
