Man arrested for Osoyoos break and enter released

Brooks Vandenbroek, 37, has been released on a conditional sentence order after he pleaded guilty to 18 charges.

A man who pleaded guilty to the break and enter at Joe’s Plumbing and Heating in Osoyoos was released on a conditional sentence.

Oliver resident Brooks Vandenbroek, 37, was arrested for the break and enter on June 18 and pleaded guilty to a total of 18 charges based out of Osoyoos, Oliver and Penticton including fraud and mail theft.

Vandenbroek was released on a conditional sentence order Osoyoos RCMP says has “numerous conditions.”

“Typically any breach of a conditional sentence order would result in the offender having to serve the remainder of the sentence in custody,” RCMP said in a press release.
