A man has been charged in connection with the shooting of a 100 Mile House area man earlier this month.
Nicholas Finley, 42, has been charged with one count of discharge of a firearm with intent to wound and one count of aggravated assault.
The charges stem from an incident on March 6, 2016 at around 11:55 a.m. when the 100 Mile House RCMP received a report that a 42 year old local man had been shot in the arm.
The charges were approved by Crown on March 17, and the RCMP located Finley the next day at a residence in Mission where he was taken into custody without incident.
Finley remains in custody in Mission but is expected to appear in Provincial Court sometime this week in Williams Lake.
