A 26-year-old man was airlifted to hospital Monday afternoon after falling 30 feet from a tree along McKee Road.

There are few details at this point, but the man was working for a tree company when he was reportedly hit by a falling branch.

Deputy fire chief Mike Helmer said the man suffered “traumatic injury” and had to be secured to a spine board before transport.

The man’s condition is not known at this time, Helmer said.
