A man riding an ATV on the east side of Kalamalka Lake was injured during an accident.
At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, 20 members of Vernon Search and Rescue, along with members of Lake Country Fire Department, responded to reports of an an ATV rider suffering from a broken leg.
The accident occurred about 900 feet above Kalamalka Lake on a plateau near the Oyama end of the lake.
The injured man was transported via stretcher and ATVs to an awaiting ambulance.
