Police are seeking public assistance in determining the whereabouts of a man last seen in December 2013.

On June 8, 2014, the RCMP received a report of a missing person from a campsite near James Lake, about 16 kilometres east of Kelowna International Airport.

Terrance Michael Landon had been living in a tent trailer on Crown land for several months and was building a small cabin in the woods there.

The last known contact with Landon was Dec. 26, 2013 and when a friend recently went to check on him, they found his vehicle and trailer there but could not locate him.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue has conducted multiple area searches but Landon has not been located.

Landon is described as a Caucasian male and 57 years old. He is five-foot-seven and weighs 141 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a fully, grey beard.

Anyone with information on Landon’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP.
