Man wanted in Oregon nabbed at Peace Arch border

34-year-old taken into custody by U.S. officials on Aug. 10

A man wanted in Oregon for alleged dangerous-drug manufacturing was apprehended last week at the Peace Arch border.

According to a news release issued Sunday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, the southbound man was taken into custody the evening of Aug. 10, after a name check during a routine inspection revealed he was the subject of a warrant out of Jackson County.

The man, identified as 34-year-old Justin Dillon, was transported to Whatcom County jail to await extradition.
