Trail users in the Columbia Valley are being warned they might notice an increased military presence in the area this weekend.
Reserve soldiers for the 39 Canadian Brigade Group will be conducting patrol training in and around the mountain ranges of the Columbia Valley in Chilliwack this Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19.
During the two day training exercise, people may encounter soldiers patrolling along the trails and paths.
The defence ministry is asking the public to use caution when accessing trails for recreation. Soldiers will be moving and patrolling at various times during the exercise.
