An elderly woman was located within hours of going missing this morning in Naramata.
The Naramata Fire Department, along with Penticton Search and Rescue, responded to Arawana Road near the KVR Trail, in the early hours of Nov. 8 for a report of a missing woman. About 50 searchers canvassed the area on foot and ATV, locating the woman on Upper Debeck Road just before 11 a.m.
The woman was described as wet and cold after her night outdoors, but otherwise in good shape. Paramedics also attended the scene to evaluate the woman’s condition.
