The West Shore RCMP is still hopeful the rightful owner of more than a $1,000 will be found.
Back on Nov. 23, a Good Samaritan found the money and turned it over to the local detachment in hopes that it will be reunited with the person that lost it.
However, efforts in tracking down the owner have not yet been successful.
The money was found in Goldstream Provincial Park on that day.
Police are withholding information on the exact location, exactly how much was found and the denomination – all of which should be known to the rightful owner.
