A motorist was injured after being struck by a tire Tuesday.
A 62-year-old West Kelowna man operating a motorcycle was sent to hospital after he was struck by a wheel that came off a 2006 grey Dodge pickup truck at 5:24 p.m. on Highway 97, near Ponderosa Road in Lake Country.
The motorcycle operator sustained serious injuries to his left leg.
The 53-year-old Manitoba driver of the truck was not injured.
