NANAIMO – Alleged parole violation triggers warrant for Nanaimo man.

RCMP have issued a warrant for Ben Moen of Nanaimo for alleged breech of parole conditions.

Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Ben Christian Moen, 37, of Nanaimo.

The warrant was issued on Monday after it was reported Moen was not abiding by the conditions of his parole to not consume or possess illegal drugs.

Moen should be considered violent and should not be approached. He has contacts and family throughout Nanaimo and could be driving a brown, older-model Honda Civic with B.C. plates 568MTG.

Moen has numerous tattoos on his arms plus several on each side of his neck that spell out “City of PITTY.”

Moen is Caucasian, 6-feet-1, 175 pounds with short, brown hair and hazel eyes.
