There will be no investigation into the cancellation of a live leadership simulcast.
Nanaimo city council made an in-camera decision Monday to release a report on the sequence of events leading up to the cancellation of Leadercast, but not launch an inquiry into the issue.
A 158-page redacted version of the report is expected to be on the city’s website this week after it undergoes a Freedom of Information review.
“The public is encouraged to read the documents online and make your own judgement,” said Mayor John Ruttan.
