New Dairy Queen proposed for Campbell River

Dairy Queen wants to build a new restaurant with a drive-thru

A new Dairy Queen is being proposed for Dogwood Street.

The company wants to build a new restaurant with a drive-thru on the corner of 12th Avenue and Dogwood Street on the former Save-On Foods gas bar site in the Home Hardware plaza.

Plans for the new Dairy Queen include a parking and loading area, a patio area, landscaping, and a 7.5 metre tall free-standing sign on the northeast corner of the site.

Construction of the restaurant is dependent on approval from city council which will consider the application at its Monday night meeting.
