Brothers Liev and Pablo Schreiber both went home from the Emmy Awards Sunday night empty-handed.
Pablo, 37, who was born in a commune near Ymir and raised in Winlaw, was nominated as Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as George (Pornstache) Mendez in Orange is the New Black, but lost to Reg E. Cathey of House of Cards.
Liev, 47, who also spent part of his childhood in the Slocan Valley, was nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as the lead character in Ray Donovan, but lost to Jon Hamm of Mad Men.
