The North Okanagan’s United Way continues to seek support for key community services.
The United Way’s annual fundraising campaign is currently at $159,000 of its $250,000 goal.
“We do have about six workplaces that do not complete until Dec. 31 and will not be reporting until January,” said Linda Yule, executive director.
United Way supports more than 20 community programs for children, youth, families, seniors and those with disabilities.
Among the agencies that have received United Way support are the Enderby and District Family Resource Centre, the Family Resource Centre for the North Okanagan, Independent Living Vernon, Kindale Development Association, the Falkland Okanagan Boys and Girls Club, the Upper Room Mission and the Whitevalley Community Resource Centre.
