Two North Okanagan residents are coming home with gold.

Ina Forrest, of Armstrong, and Sonja Gaudet, of Vernon, were part of the wheelchair curling team that won gold at the Paralympic Games against Russia 8-3 Saturday.

“It’s tremendous,” skip Jim Armstrong told CBC. “It’s been a long week but we played well today. It was probably our best game of the tournament.
