Nov. 15 – B.C. votes for local government representatives

After voting closes at 8 p.m. on Saturday, election results will be posted at:

VICTORIA - Local government elections day is Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014,

and eligible British Columbians can vote for their representatives in

communities throughout the province.

Voters can mark their ballots between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time at

voting places indicated on their local government's website or by

contacting their local government directly.

Eligible voters who may not have already registered can still vote on

voting day. Proof of identification will be needed to register at the

time of voting. Two pieces of identification will be required - one

piece indicating who the individual is and where they live, and a

second piece that includes their signature.

Municipal, regional district, park board, school district, local

community commissions and Island Trust representatives will be

elected on Nov. 15.

As a public service, CivicInfo BC posts provincewide unofficial local

election results as reported by chief election officers in

municipalities, regional districts and school districts.

As received, unofficial local election results will be available

through CivicInfo after voting places close at 8 p.m. local time on

Saturday, Nov. 15. Election results will be posted at:
