Chilliwack will be one of six B.C. communities visited by a federal panel looking for feedback on the proposed Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
The three-member panel will relay its findings to the federal government, which is expected to rule on the $6.8 billion project by December.
The National Energy Board has already given its approval of the proposal – which would twin the existing pipeline running through Chilliwack – after two years of hearings.
Other B.C. communities to be visited include Kamloops, Abbotsford, Langley, Burnaby, Vancouver and Victoria.
