Canada Day Country Fair at the Aldergrove Legion

Canada Day Country Fair – at the Aldergrove Legion, 26607 Fraser Highway, fun for the whole family in our fenced area, July 1, noon to 4 p.m. Carnival games for children, childrens sack races, bouncy castle, Mr. Flowers balloon artist noon to 3 p.m., children’s magician Andrew at 12:30, flag tattoos, flags. Food: Canada Day cake, popcorn, cotton candy, hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks, salads. For adults inside, dancing 3-7 p.m. to Bob Marlow. Come out and help us celebrate Canada’s birthday, have fun, win prizes, support our local charities.

Celebrate Canada Day in Historic Mt. Lehman – Start the day with a pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at Mt. Lehman Community Hall, located at 6418 Mt. Lehman Rd. at Taylor Rd, north-west Abbotsford. Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. from the Mt.Lehman Credit Union 5889 Mt. Lehman Rd. Cake and festivities to follow at Mt. Lehman Community Hall.

Canada Day at Langley Centennial Museum – free, fun, family event at Langley Centennial Museum in Fort Langley, 9135 King Street. Events and activities, including crafts, face painting, a balloon artist, and old-fashioned games, run Friday, July 1 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and will include a variety of performances and workshops.
