A $2,000 reward is being offered by police to identify suspects involved in a Chilliwack bank robbery last week.
One of the three suspects, Ryan Terry Therrien of West Kelowna, appeared in court on July 11, in connection with charges of robbery, and disguising his face with intent to commit a crime.
The holdup on July 8 at the Vedder Road Bank of Montreal saw two men wearing bandanas and then fleeing in a white van driven by a third suspect, according to police files.
The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and the van was later ditched on Lickman Road.
Therrien is still in custody and awaiting a July 19 show cause hearing.
“The Chilliwack RCMP Serious Crime Section is still investigating and are looking for the other two men connected to this robbery,” said RCMP Cpl. Tammy Hollingsworth.
Police have information on the possible identities. But they are asking anyone with any information to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or receive a cash reward of up to $2,000 by reporting an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or visit http://www.chilliwackcrimestoppers.ca/ to report online.
