Police are now saying the death of a man outside of Fort Nelson was not suspicious.
On Saturday, Mounties found a body in a Hyundai sedan, about 24 kilometres south of Fort Nelson in a recreational pullout site.
It is unclear how long the body was in the car before being discovered.
The vehicle had been rented from Surrey on Sept. 30, according to Sgt. Rob Vermuelen.
Initially, police thought the death was suspicious, but have since dismissed that notion.
The case and the file are now with the B.C. Coroner’s Service.
