Several arrests were made after a Vernon home caught the attention of the police.
The RCMP’s targeted policing unit conducted an investigation of a home in the 2700 block of 35th Street after residents and businesses expressed concern about a high volume of traffic related to the residence. On Thursday, the RCMP searched the structure.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on a trafficking warrant that stemmed from the last undercover operation that was conducted in September. He will also be facing new charges of possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon contrary to a court order prohibition.
A 29-year-old was showed up while the police were on scene is expected to face charges of possession of stolen property found that was recovered in the residence.
A third man, 28-years-old, was arrested and released for violating court ordered prohibition and was found in possession of a prohibited weapon.
A 17-year-old female was taken from the residence and turned over to her parents.
“Several other people at the house were released without any charges,” said Gord Molendyk, RCMP spokesperson.
“Also seized in the house was trafficking paraphernalia and about $1,000 in cash.”
The police investigation continues and further charges are possible.
