Pot party
Four young men are under investigation for possession of marijuana after a police stop on Aug. 27. Around 11 p.m., a Central Saanich officer on routine patrol in the 1200 block of Verdier Avenue in Brentwood Bay located a vehicle with a group of males inside. The officer detected the scent of marijuana and upon further investigation found a small quantity of pot in the vehicle.

Officers were called to the north end of Island View beach for a report of a nude sunbather on Aug. 29 around 4 p.m. Officers did not locate the man.
