Police are looking for those responsible for a break and enter at the Waste Transfer Station on Donaldson Road in Telkwa. Suspects broke into a container holding spray paint and proceeded to spray “DOMS” all over the site. Police think the site was reached by snowmobile. There have been other recent break-ins as well. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 250-847-3233 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Also on Mar. 5, items were stolen from a gray 2007 Mazda sedan sometime between midnight and 2:30 a.m. The owner said that the vehicle was parked at the Legion when his Blackberry Curve cellphone was stolen and a Sirius Satellite radio. The vehicle was unlocked and sustained no damage. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP.
