On Sept. 30 Houston RCMP received two between 7:30 p.m. and 7:46 p.m. about the vehicle collision with a deer on Hwy. 16west of Houston just past Sullivan Motor Products.
The driver river was unharmed, although a bit shaken up. The front of the his vehcile made contact with the deer, resulting inits immediate demis of the deer. The driver pulled over, flashed his harzard lights, and removed the deer off to the side of thehighway.
“I hit it about 15 feet back there, and saw that there were about four of them crossing the road,” commented the driver.
At 8:01 p.m. officer Constable Hobbs arrived on scene to investigate the accident.
