Police armed with assault rifles surrounded a downtown Chilliwack apartment building Monday afternoon, after a complaint of a home invasion.
They received a report that people entering an apartment suite had weapons, prompting a quick RCMP response.
The incident turned out to be a case of an unwanted person in the residence, and quickly de-escalated after further investigation.
