Poster contest helps out Habitat

The Habitat Champions are looking for an original poster to raise awareness of the $300,000 Lend A Hand To Buy The Land fundraising efforts.

Creativity is sought to help promote affordable housing in the community.

The Habitat Champions are looking for an original poster to raise awareness of the $300,000 Lend A Hand To Buy The Land fundraising efforts.

“We invite all artists young and old to create a vision for Habitat for Humanity in the North Okanagan,” said Beth Marks, with Habitat Champions, a group of volunteers leading the fundraiser.

The winning poster will be chosen by the committee April 10.

Posters can be dropped off with Bev Seguna at Royal LePage, Beth Marks at Sutton or at Charlene Silvester’s notary office.

“The winning design will be printed into posters and will receive great appreciation and a $100 gift certificate donated by Nadine’s Fine Arts,” said Marks.
