There will be a royal encounter for Okanagan residents this fall.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate, will be in B.C. in September, including Kelowna Sept. 27. The exact details of the Okanagan visit are not known yet.
“The duke and duchess are delighted to be returning to Canada. They hold very happy memories from their visit in 2011 – their first overseas tour as a married couple,” states a spokesman for Kensington Palace.
“They are really looking forward to seeing other parts of this beautiful country and having the opportunity to meet many more Canadians along the way.”
The couple will also make stops in Vancouver, Victoria, Bella Bella, Haida Gwaii and the Yukon.
