Princeton death treated as suspicious

56-year-old woman found dead in her Osprey Lake Road home

RCMP officers found a Princeton woman dead in her residence last Wednesday.

Members of the Princeton RCMP detachment attended a residence on Osprey Lake Road in the rural Princeton area in order to conduct a well-being check of a 56-year-old woman. Officers gained entrance to the residence and found the woman dead.

“At this time we can state that there are no indications that the woman’s death poses a risk to the safety of the general public and community of Princeton,” said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

Investigators are treating the death as suspicious. RCMP said a forensic autopsy is scheduled for today with the results of which may assist investigators in making further determinations.
