Public assistance sought after armed robbery in Vernon

RCMP make one arrest in Chase related to the incident Wednesday

RCMP are investing an armed robbery at a Vernon business.

On Wednesday at about 6 p.m., three men entered the Black Crow Herbal Dispensary on 48th Avenue.

“The men produced handguns and left with an undisclosed amount of money and a quantity of marijuana products, fleeing the scene in a vehicle,” said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy, with the RCMP.

“No one was injured in this robbery.”

The investigation led to the arrest of an adult male early Friday at a residence in Chase. He is currently in RCMP custody.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is being released at this time,” said Noseworthy.
