Police have issued two warrants for the arrest of 37-year-old Bernard Barton, who is alleged to have breached his bail conditions and stolen a motor vehicle.

Barton was sent to live in a Chilliwack-area treatment centre in July.

He is described as a First Nations male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands six feet tall and weighs 203 pounds, with a scar on his left cheek.

“He may be armed and dangerous,” said RCMP Cst. Cynthia Kershaw. “We ask that anyone who sees Mr. Barton, or knows where he may be, call police and not approach him directly.”
