RCMP needs public assistance to solve a couple crimes

The 100 Mile House RCMP is requesting public assistance with information regarding crimes

On Aug. 9, police responded to an alarm at the Buffalo Creek Elementary School.

Investigation revealed that a door knob on the back side of the school had been damaged. The damage as a result of this mischief has cost the school district money with unnecessary repair bills.

The 100 Mile House RCMP is requesting public assistance with information regarding this crime.

Vehicle vandalism

On Aug. 11, police attended downtown Lone Butte to investigate a mischief.

The owner of the vehicle reported vandalism to his car. It seems a person with a black felt marker drew a large happy face on the side of the vehicle.

Police would appreciate any information from the public concerning this incident.
