On Thursday, Sept. 1, police recognized a male at Dutch Lake beach who had an unendorsed warrant for his arrest. The male attempted to run but didn’t make it far and was arrested.
He was held in custody and then transported to Kamloops to appear in court.
Two arrests for assault
On Aug. 28, police arrested a male for an assaulting his girlfriend. The male will have to appear in court on Sept. 12, for his actions.
Three days later, on Aug. 31, police arrested another male for assaulting his girlfriend. The incident occurred on Old North Thompson Highway. The male will have to appear in court on Sept. 12 for his actions.
Theft of mountain bikes
On Sept. 1, a female reported someone had stolen three mountain bikes from a rack on the back of her vehicle that was parked overnight in the parking lot of a Clearwater tourism business.
Clearwater RCMP seek the general public’s help pertaining to the theft of bikes. Anyone with information is asked to call Clearwater RCMP at 250-674-2237 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (where you will remain anonymous).
Protect your personal information
Clearwater RCMP also want to make the public aware not to divulge any personal information or give your credit card number out over the phone in the event someone calls stating they are an organization that you owe money to.
