Management plans for three Regional District of Central Kootenay parks — Crescent Valley Beach, Waterloo Eddy and Pass Creek — have been adopted by the RDCK board and are ready to implement.
“The process to engage the public, collect feedback and draft the plans began in the fall of 2014,” said Sangita Sudan, general manager of development services. “The RDCK commends residents for taking an active role in sharing their vision for their public spaces.”
The management plans will guide the operations, development and stewardship of the parks over the next decade. They address things like signage, parking, and environmental stewardship.
