100 Mile RCMP responded to 96 complaints and calls for service this past week.
Lock them
On May 16, 100 Mile RCMP received complaints that several unlocked vehicles in 100 Mile House had been rummaged through and articles had been taken.
The RCMP reminds the public to secure vehicles to prevent thefts from occurring.
Tires slashed
On May 15, police received further reports of vehicle tires being slashed in 100 Mile House.

More vandalism
On May 13, 100 Mile RCMP received a complaint the greenhouse at the 108 Mile Mall had been vandalized.
Unknown culprits slashed the plastic on the greenhouse and then damaged the plants inside. The damage to the property is estimated to be around $2,000.

Drinking and rolling
On May 12, police responded to a complaint of a single-vehicle rollover collision on Highway 97 at Lac la Hache.
The driver of a green 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier had lost control of the vehicle and it overturned in the ditch. The driver was determined to have consumed liquor.
An approved roadside-screening device was administered, resulting in a fail. The driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
The three occupants were transported by ambulance, treated at hospital for minor injuries and released.
Criminal record checks reminder
With the arrival of spring, the 100 Mile House RCMP would like to remind anyone requiring a criminal record check for sports teams or end-of-year school trips the processing time for these checks is now three weeks.
If fingerprint verification is required, the time delay can be four to six months.
