The 2015/16 North Okanagan-Shuswap School District calendar has been approved.
Superintendent Glenn Borthistle says the upcoming year is an unusual one with a very late start (Sept. 7), an early Easter (Good Friday is March 25), and an early ending (the last Friday in June).
Because of the constraints, there will only be three school closure days rather than five in 2015/16..
