Charges have been stayed against a 23-year-old man who was accused last summer of sexual interference involving a 15-year-old girl.

Brian William Davis was a student in the kinesiology and physical education program at University of the Fraser Valley when he did a volunteer practicum at Abbotsford Collegiate in April 2010.

He was accused of befriending a girl and continuing the relationship outside of school on a social networking site, through text messages, and in person.

Davis was arrested and charged last August.
