There’s more terrain available for skiers at Silver Star Mountain Resort.
Putnam Creek opens today at 8:45 a.m. while Silver Woods opens Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
Currently, the resort has a snow base of 106 centimetres.
Environment Canada says there is a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the Vernon area Friday morning, amounting to about two centimetres. Tonight, there is a 40 per cent chance of flurries, providing between two and four centimetres.
On Saturday, there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
